The Department of Creed and Contemporary Sects offers courses, introductions, and terminology in creed, comparative studies in religions and sects, research methodologies in the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah, issues of monotheism, and contemporary intellectual trends.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding:
P1 He knows hadith terminology, semantics, and the methodologies of the Imams in tafsir and in criticizing the Sunnah accurately.
P2 Analyzes hadiths scientifically and accurately according to the elements of the hadith commentary, distinguishing the correct from the weak.
P3 Identifies the thematic categorization of the year in different ways and formats with mastery.
Skills:
M1 Applies the skills to synthesize hadiths using different scientific methods while mastering the differences between them.
M2 Compares the narratives and the opinions of critics on the narrators, addressing their differences scientifically according to the methodology of the Imams of Criticism.
M3 employs scientific research skills according to quality standards to prepare year-end research and its sciences using advanced technical methods.
M4 Apply the hadiths to the historical facts according to the correct scientific method, with caution in deciding where there is disagreement.

S1 Initiates constructive solutions to societal issues by linking the Prophet's methodology in the Sunnah with the practical application of it in reality.
