Regulations for e-learning programs
Terms of admission
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- The applicant must not have a disciplinary dismissal from Qassim University or any other university.
Applicants will be screened according to the following criteria:
- High School GPA 70%.
- General Abilities Test (GAT) or General Abilities for Undergraduates (GAU) score or Cognitive Ability Test 30% (not more than five years old).
Required documents:
- National identity.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One of the above-mentioned aptitude tests (if applicable)*.
*Note: Aptitude tests will be weighted for nomination.
General controls
- The final exams will be held in person at the centers approved by the college.
- Applicants must pay the test fees if they wish to test at a center outside Qassim University, as follows:
-Qassim University Testing Center (free of charge)
-Riyadh Testing Center (250 riyals) for each semester.
-Dammam Testing Center (250 riyals) for each semester.
-Jeddah Testing Center (250 riyals) for each semester.
-Madinah Testing Center (250 riyals) for each semester. - No postponement is allowed for the first semester for students admitted to e-learning programs.
- The amount will be counted as a non-refundable credit and used to pay future fees, except for tuition refunds upon withdrawal, or completion of all Diploma Plan requirements.
- All university rules and regulations related to those enrolled in the Applied College apply to students of e-learning programs, unless there is a special provision for them.
- The application fee is non-refundable, in all cases.
- Classes start at 4 p.m.
- If a student is exempted from taking a course, 50% will be deducted from the course fee, with the student passing the course with a grade of A+.
Tuition fees
The tuition fee for one semester in the diploma is calculated by multiplying the number of approved study hours for the semester by the value of one hour (unit) of study, which is (200) riyals, noting that failure to pay the fees on time will result in the cancellation of admission.
Tuition Refund Regulations (Withdrawal)
A certain amount of fees will be deducted when a student withdraws from the study as follows:
- If you withdraw before classes begin, 10% will be deducted from your tuition.
- If you withdraw during the first or second week of classes, a 40% will be deducted from your tuition.
- Students are not entitled to claim their tuition fees if they withdraw after the second week of classes.
No refund will be given for any reason based on a disciplinary sanction.
Rules for Apologizing for a Semester
A certain amount of fees will be deducted when requesting an apology from the study as follows:
- When apologizing for a semester within the allowed period according to the calendar, 40% will be deducted from the tuition fees, with the exception of apologizing for the admission semester, the student is not entitled to claim what he/she has paid.
- The student is not entitled to claim his/her tuition fees afterwards.
Rules for apologizing for one or more courses
A certain amount of fees will be deducted when requesting an apology for one or more courses as follows:
- When apologizing for one or more courses within the period allowed by the academic calendar, 40% will be deducted from the tuition fees, except for apologizing for one or more courses in the admission semester, the student is not entitled to claim what he paid in fees.
- The student is not entitled to claim his/her tuition fees afterwards.
Note - These regulations and any amendments to them are effective from the date of their publication, and students must follow them periodically and adhere to the latest version issued by the college.
