Article One:
The data available in the Open Data Library at Qassim University is the primary source of data officially representing the university. The university is not obligated to interpret its content beyond what is included with its attached documents at the time of its publication on the library.
Article Two:
Qassim University is not responsible for any errors or missing data in this open data, or in any intellectual products derived from it. Accordingly, the university shall not be liable for any damages or losses that may arise as a result.
Article Three:
The beneficiary's access to and use of the official Open Data Library of the university constitutes their full agreement and acknowledgment to abide by the terms and conditions of this policy for the use of open data at Qassim University.
Article Four:
The provisions, policies, and terms of the Open Data Usage Agreement published on the Official University Open Data Library are subject to modification and revision by the university without prior notice to the beneficiary. It is the beneficiary's responsibility to review this policy continuously and effectively.
Article Five:
These open data policies published on the official university library do not grant you ownership, disposal, or any other legal rights to them. Qassim University reserves all these rights collectively or individually under all associated legal circumstances.
Article Six:
The beneficiary of the data published through the official university library's open data portal is responsible for citing the source and page on the library's platform to ensure credibility and fast access to correct information for the beneficiary.
Article Seven:
All data published through the Official Open Data Library of the university can be directly reused, without financial fees, or administrative or legal reviews, and the beneficiary has the right to use it directly from the Official Library of Qassim University.
Article 8
When the beneficiary sends data published in the Official Open Data Library of Qassim University to a third party, in its original format or after modification and processing, they must cite its source and the official electronic reference of the university, including the direct link to these policies on the Qassim University electronic portal.
Article Nine
It is strictly prohibited to use Qassim University's open data for suspicious or misleading purposes, or for activities that violate the regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the event that this is proven, the university has the full, unconditional right to claim its legal rights as it deems appropriate.
Article Ten:
The beneficiary of the open data provided by Qassim University is committed to removing all data or its derivatives (intellectual or legal products) upon the university's request. This is for reasons the university deems necessary and appropriate, or if the original data is directly deleted from the library by the university.
Article XI:
The beneficiary of the open data provided by Qassim University is obligated to remove all intellectual, administrative, legal, and scientific products whenever it is proven that the provisions and terms of these policies have been violated, or if Qassim University requests them to do so without the need to state the reasons leading to it.
Article Twelve:
All data published through the Official Open Data Library of Qassim University is subject to information security policies upon publication. Qassim University ensures the integrity, reliability, and authenticity of this data in its original location before it is copied or downloaded to the recipient's location.
Article Thirteen:
The beneficiary of data published through the official open data library of Qassim University is not entitled, after copying it, to claim or act as if they represent Qassim University in presenting what this open data indicates, nor that they have been officially licensed by Qassim University. It is also not permissible for them to claim to represent an official government entity.
Article Fourteen:
It is imperative to clearly and explicitly cite the source of data copied from the Open Data Library of Qassim University in all applications, websites, articles, and scientific research that use this data or republish it after analysis, modification, re-presentation, or editing.
