About

The College was established in 1413 AH as a department affiliated with the College of Education for the Preparation of Primary School Teachers in Buraydah. In 1418 AH, pursuant to Decision No. (25/4/47640 K.Q.), the development of the department was approved, and it was transformed into the College of Education for Home Economics and Art Education. Following the College’s integration into Qassim University in 1428 AH, it witnessed significant quantitative and qualitative growth. Pursuant to Ministerial Decision No. (56/A), dated 6/1/1430 AH, the College was renamed the College of Designs and Home Economics. Its rapid progress and development continued, and pursuant to Decision No. (1271), dated 15/12/1438 AH, it was renamed the College of Designs. Following the comprehensive restructuring of Qassim University, under the decision of the University Affairs Council No. (24/19/45), the College adopted its current name, the College of Arts and Designs
