About college:
The college started in 1413 AH as a department affiliated to the College of Education to prepare primary school teachers in Buraydah, and in 1418 AH, according to the decision (No. 25/4/47640/QQ), then the development of the department was approved and transformed into "College of Education for Home Economics and Art Education." In 1428 AH, the college witnessed quantitative and qualitative development and growth. When the college joined Qassim University in 1428 A.H., the college witnessed quantitative and qualitative development and growth, and its name was changed by Ministerial Decision (No. 56/A) dated 6/1/1430 A.H. to bear the name "College of Designs and Home Economics".This rapid progress and development of the college continues, as the name of the college was amended to "College of Designs" by decision (No. 1271) on 12/15/1438 AH. Then the name of the college changed again with the comprehensive structure of Qassim University under the decision of the Council of University Affairs No. (24/19/45) to become the College of "Arts and Designs".
