Mission
Contributing to the graduation of distinguished scientific competencies in Sunnah and its sciences in a way that suits the labor market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic world, and preparing highly qualified researchers to contribute to the fields of scientific research in light of the mission of the college and university and the standards of quality and academic accreditation, in order to deepen the values of the Prophetic Sunnah and preserve the identity of the Islamic nation, by activating the partnership with scientific departments in the college.
Overview
The Department of Hadith and its Sciences is one of the departments of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Qassim University. The department's mission aims to achieve several objectives, the most important of which are: teaching the Prophetic Sunnah to students, highlighting the Prophetic values carried by authentic hadiths, and establishing the critical scientific methodology of Hadith scholars. The department also aspires to prepare qualified competencies in the bachelor's and master's programs who carry this knowledge and convey it to people with proper Sharia-based communication. The department was established with the founding of the College of Sharia and Arabic Language at the beginning of the academic year 1396/1397 AH, under the name Department of Hadith and its Sciences.
Objectives :
Contributing to the enrichment of human knowledge through specialized studies and serious research, in order to achieve innovative scientific and applied additions.
Encourage high scientific competencies to keep pace with the rapid progress of science and technology, motivate them towards creativity and innovation, and develop scientific research.
3- Linking curricula and curricula to reality to contribute to the upbringing of a good generation of specialized construction workers who contribute to the development of society and address its issues.
4. Caring for serious research in the field of the Prophetic Tradition and its sciences, expanding its research, working to disseminate it, and contributing to the consolidation of the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah that the Kingdom of the Two Holy Mosques is founded upon, may God protect it. .
