Connection and disconnection

Course Description: In this course, students will learn about the importance of one of the conditions for a sound hadith, which is the unbroken chain of narration (isnad). They will also cover the significance of different performance formulas, their impact on this condition, the means and indicators used to establish or deny hearing (sama'), issues related to 'an'anah (a particular type of indirect narration), tadlis (concealing a narrator), terminology used for establishing and denying hearing, and the different gradations of connected and disconnected chains of narration.

Objectives of the course :

Introducing students to the methods and tools used by the Imams of criticism to confirm that a narrator heard from their superior, met them, and heard the specific hadith, and training students on the skills of verifying the connection and disconnection of chains of narration.
