Qassim University demonstrates its commitment to sustainability literacy by developing and implementing a Sustainability Literacy and Knowledge Assessment Tool. This tool is designed to systematically evaluate individuals' comprehension of environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability. Its components include Multiple-Choice Questions, Likert Scale Surveys, and Scenario-Based Questions to assess factual knowledge, attitudes, and the ability to apply sustainable solutions. The results from this assessment are used to identify knowledge gaps and inform the development of targeted educational initiatives and programs. Furthermore, the university promotes literacy by integrating environmental knowledge across various course curricula, a goal highlighted in academic plans. The Center for Sustainable Development facilitates this by emphasizing that graduates must be equipped with the necessary knowledge and values to advance sustainability, protecting the planet and serving society responsibly. The ultimate aim is to track progress and cultivate a deeper, actionable culture of sustainability across the campus and beyond.

Partnership to build capabilities of non-profit sector professionals through training, academic services, conducting joint studies, and organizing events.
