The volunteer unit at Qassim University's General Administration of Human Resources was established by a resolution from His Excellency the President of Qassim University, number 66559, dated 05/25/2022 – 10/24/1443 AH. Its aim is for individuals to contribute their effort, time, and expertise without financial compensation to serve the community and promote values of solidarity and social responsibility. It contributes to the development of volunteers' personal and professional skills, and provides opportunities for creativity and effective community participation, thereby achieving a sustainable impact on national development.
Vision
Achieving voluntary leadership for Qassim University through best practices for managing and developing volunteer programs among university staff and entities, in accordance with the National Standard for Volunteer Management in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Idamah).

Empowering university staff to engage in volunteer work through well-thought-out methodologies and sustainable systems by connecting them with available volunteer opportunities, training them in volunteerism, creating qualitative and innovative volunteer opportunities, and building fruitful partnerships between the university and community organizations to expand the scope of volunteerism at the university and enable its staff to participate effectively in community engagement.
