University signs memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Logistics Academy

The university, represented by the College of Applied Studies, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Logistics Academy on Sunday, October 13, 2024. This took place during the Global Logistics Forum (GLF24), organized by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - at the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh.

The memorandum was signed by the CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Khaled bin Abdulrahman Al-Maimani, and the CEO of the Saudi Logistics Academy, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Abdulkarim. The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of education and training, exchange expertise between the two parties; to provide important community services, and to participate in the qualification and training of national cadres.

The memorandum includes cooperation in several areas between the two parties through sharing best practices and expertise in developing national cadres in logistics and supply chains, in addition to enabling graduates of the Saudi Logistics Academy's “Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program” to complete their studies in e-learning programs at the university.

Areas of cooperation also include mutual understanding in providing training for short courses and executive programs for leadership development; with the aim of qualifying and developing national cadres for both parties, through signing a separate agreement, as well as exchanging data, information, and statistics resulting from the implementation of this memorandum.
