The University achieves first place in the Faisal bin Meshal Award for Voluntary Work

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, honored the university for winning first place in the Faisal bin Meshal Award for Voluntary Work, in the "Entities" category. The honor was bestowed during His Highness's patronage of the launch of the Third Volunteering Forum in the region, on Monday, December 5, 2022. The forum is organized by the Volunteering Unit of the Emirate at the King Khalid Cultural Center in Buraidah, under the slogan "We are ready for it," coinciding with "International Volunteer Day," and with the participation of 40 sectors from government institutions, entities, and volunteer teams in the region.

 

Where the university honored was received by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharikh. It is worth mentioning that the university made great efforts in volunteer work during 2022, with 246 volunteer opportunities, 32,643 volunteer hours, carried out by 3,247 male and female volunteers.
