Low-income student support
Qassim University provides essential support to ensure that students from low-income families can continue and complete their studies. This support covers housing, food, transport, internet and health care at the University Medical City. In addition, students receive a monthly student allowance throughout their studies paid through the Deanship of Admission and Registration. International scholarship students benefit from a guaranteed support package that includes free accommodation and transportation financial assistance (flight tickets).
Bedding for low-income students in University housing
The Student Fund distributed donated blankets and bedding worth SAR 20,000 free of charge to students with limited income living in University housing.
Ramadan food baskets
The Student Fund received support worth 29,996 Saudi riyals from the Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation to provide free Ramadan baskets to eligible students.
Support for prescription eyeglasses
The Student Fund has covered 50 percent of the medical glasses bills for students, totaling 3,617 Saudi riyals.
