External scholarships (non-Saudis from outside the Kingdom)
Applications are submitted through the portal. Study in Saudi Arabia It includes both:
- GCC citizens.
- Or from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and do not have a valid residency permit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Or is present within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and has a valid residency permit and is sponsored by Qassim University or sponsored by one of the universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Internal Scholarships (Non-Saudis from within the Kingdom)
- Applicants for internal scholarships must have a valid residency permit and not be sponsored by a university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Applicants for internal scholarships must hold a university degree (a graduation certificate, not a graduation statement) from an accredited university. All documents must be attested by the Saudi Embassy (Cultural Attaché) in their country or the country where they obtained their university degree.
- To meet the admission requirements for the chosen major (the program they wish to enroll in) in terms of cumulative GPA and previous major.
- The age of applicants for master's programs should not exceed 30 years, and for doctoral programs, it should not exceed 35 years for non-Saudis.
- The applicant's residency permit for internal scholarships must be valid for one year from the date of application.
- The applicant must have achieved the English language proficiency required for the program they wish to apply for at the time of application.
- To be a legal resident in the Kingdom (if on a work visa, the worker must bring approval from their employer, stamped by the Chamber of Commerce, when documents are matched after initial acceptance).
- Admission to health specializations is not available.
- The application for admission will be canceled if the applicant has an acceptance at another university (for non-Saudis).
- The names of candidates for initial admission (internal scholarships) are submitted to the Ministry of Education, and final admission is contingent upon the Ministry's approval.
- Tuition fees will be paid after final approval from the Ministry of Education for candidates with provisional internal scholarships (non-Saudis).
- The request cannot be modified or canceled after the nomination has been submitted to the ministry's website.
