QU inaugurates the activities of the Badir Program for Technology Incubators at the University
The "Badir" program is a well-known technology incubator in Saudi Arabia. Qassim University hosts a branch, providing "incubation services for technology projects and startups," which includes mentorship, administrative support, and networking opportunities.
Ibtikar Incubator:
In July 2025, the university concluded the "Uptake Incubator Hackathon" as part of its own Ibtikar Incubator initiative. This incubator's goals align with BADIR's mission by fostering innovation, intellectual property, and entrepreneurship to create new university-based startups.
Advanced Manufacturing Center at the College of Engineering
College of Engineering operates an "Advanced Manufacturing Center" equipped with 3D printers and other rapid prototyping technologies in coordination with CODE Center in QU. The center is designated to serve both students and industrial and community partners, providing them with access to state-of-the-art facilities they might not otherwise afford.
