Qassim University students have access to sexual and reproductive health-care services, including consultation services, at the University Medical City. The services are provided free of charge and in full confidentiality, and students can book reproductive and sexual-health consultations online through the Medical City e-services portal.

Enhancing Clinical Skills through a Training Workshop in Medical Simulation in the Field of Obstetrics and Gynecology

In order to promote the implementation of best health practices, the Simulation and Clinical Training Center at the Medical City organized a specialized training workshop on the latest simulation techniques in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, at the headquarters of the University Hospital, with the participation of a group of specialized medical cadres.
The workshop aimed to raise the efficiency of medical staff and enhance clinical readiness, through training on realistic scenarios that simulate critical cases, using advanced simulation techniques that are considered one of the most advanced in the world in this field.
The commencement of infertility and andrology surgeries at Qassim University Medical City
A series of specialized surgeries in the fields of reproductive and sexual health care have been launched at the Center for Urology, Infertility and Andrology at Qassim University Medical City.
The Urology, Infertility and Andrology Center at Qassim University Medical City has started performing successful microsurgeries to treat infertility and sexual dysfunction, including spermatic cord reconnection and erectile dysfunction implants, led by a specialized medical team with complete success.
In a new medical initiative, a series of specialized surgeries in the fields of infertility and andrology were launched at the Urology, Infertility and Andrology Center at Qassim University Medical City.
The surgical team was able to perform a series of successful complex surgeries, including the reattachment of the spermatic cord to the epididymis using a microscope, which is an effective solution for cases of zero-obstructive infertility, and the implantation of male stents to stimulate erections of both flexible and mechanical types, which is the best way to treat organic male impotence, and all operations were successful, praise be to God.
The team included Dr. Muhannad Al-Harbi, Consultant Urology, Infertility and Andrology Surgeon, and from the anesthesia team, Dr. Rasha Zeidan, Consultant Anesthesiologist, Dr. Mohammed Tolba, Anesthesia Specialist, Rakan Al-Faridi, and a team of qualified nursing staff.
