The university president receives the students who won first place in the archery championship.

His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Shaleh, received on Sunday, May 17, 2026, the university students who won first place in the Saudi Universities Sports Federation archery championship. This championship was held for the first time within the Federation's championships, with the participation of 19 Saudi universities. The reception was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Dean of Student Affairs at the main campus in the University City.

During the reception, His Excellency the President of the University praised this distinguished achievement, emphasizing that what has been accomplished is a result of the support provided by the wise leadership – may God preserve them – to the education sector, and the university's keenness to develop the capabilities of its students in various scientific, cultural, and sports fields. He noted that this excellence reflects the high competence of the university's students and their ability to compete and achieve accomplishments at the level of Saudi universities.

His Excellency also noted the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs and its technical and administrative staff in preparing and qualifying the team, emphasizing the university's commitment to supporting sports activities and promoting student participation in various championships, which contributes to honing their skills and building their well-rounded personalities.

For their part, the students expressed their thanks and appreciation to the esteemed President of the University for his support and attention, emphasizing that this honor is an incentive for them to continue achieving more accomplishments and raising the university's name in future athletic competitions.
