The finals of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Futsal Championship kicked off today, Wednesday, at the Olympic Complex in the university city of Qassim University, with the participation of a number of universities that qualified from the preliminary rounds to compete for the championship title.
The hosting of this championship comes as an extension of Al-Qassim University's role in supporting student sports activities, and as a reinforcement of the partnership with the Saudi Universities Sports Federation to ensure the success of national events.
The confrontations continue for four days in two periods; morning and evening, while Friday, April 24 will witness the final match and the crowning ceremony from 4 PM to 6 PM.
The hosting also includes a package of accompanying events for participants, most notably two recreational championships in darts and bowling, in addition to holding a number of training and development programs, including a workshop titled «Dietary Supplements and Performance Enhancers for Athletes.».
