The university concluded the fifth «Peoples» Heritage" festival on Friday evening, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region. The festival lasted for 6 days at the King Khalid Cultural Center, with the participation of several entities and more than 90 countries from around the world.
The fifth edition of the festival witnessed the attendance of over 110,000 visitors from various segments of society. This festival serves as a cultural platform to highlight the cultural diversity of the university's international students and is one of the most prominent cultural events hosted by the university. It annually attracts a large number of visitors and those interested in global cultures, offering a rich experience combining knowledge and entertainment through live performances, heritage pavilions, and interactive experiences showcasing the cultures and heritage of peoples.
For his part, His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharikh, affirmed that the festival embodies one of the dimensions of the university's vision for national and global partnership, by consolidating concepts of understanding between peoples, encouraging the embrace of international students, enhancing their educational role in building bridges of cultural communication, and presenting a bright image of world cultures from which everyone benefits.
At the conclusion of the festival, the President of the university extended his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership, may God protect them, for their continuous support of the education sector and universities in the Kingdom. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Prince of Qassim region for sponsoring this festival, valuing the role of the participating entities that enriched the festival culturally and intellectually. He also thanked the university staff who made great efforts in preparing and organizing this festival.
