His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, launched the «Interactive Kits for the College of Applied Studies» project. This project includes more than 250 e-courses for 16 educational programs and aims to improve the quality of scientific content and transform applied courses into interactive e-content supported by visual and audio elements, in accordance with the standards of the National Center for E-Learning. The launch was attended by the university vice presidents, members of the Standing Supervisory Committee, and college leaders at the main university campus.
This project comes as part of the digital transformation witnessed by the education sector, where the college has completely redesigned the learning experience through comprehensive interactive learning packages that are carefully built and professionally presented, placing the student at the heart of the educational experience. These packages also include accurate course descriptions, learning objectives, diverse educational resources, and a study schedule covering all weeks, in addition to clear assessment policies that include assignments, activities, and tests.
It is mentioned that the project includes over 1700 educational units, 5500 asynchronous hours, 2100 audio-visual materials, 1700 educational tests, and 1000 interactive activities and assignments, with the participation of over 300 team members.
