His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharakh, and His Excellency the CEO of stc Group, Eng. Al-Alayan bin Mohammed Al-Woteed, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the university and stc Group to promote innovation, develop digital and analytical capabilities in the field of information and communication technology, cooperate in innovative digital solutions, enrich society, and build the skills and capabilities of Saudi competencies in these fields.
The memorandum was signed by His Excellency the Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Waleed bin Saleh Al-Battah, and His Excellency the Director General of the Professional Development Center at stc Academy, Dr. Hussein bin Ali Al-Muhasnna, in Riyadh.
The memorandum includes several areas for cooperation, including: scientific research, enabling faculty members and researchers to implement joint digital projects, cooperation in offering postgraduate programs, higher diplomas, diplomas, and professional certificates, as available capabilities permit, in addition to cooperation in innovation and development of joint projects between the two parties. It also includes support for training, development, innovative activities, their enablement, and the organization of competitions and hackathons.
