Umm Al-Qura University College of Medicine organizes the sixteenth edition of the Achievement Level Measurement Test

The University College of Medicine, on Wednesday, Shawwal 8, 1445 AH, organized the sixteenth session of the Achievement Level Measurement Test. This test targets medical college students from 22 local medical colleges and 3 Gulf colleges, with the participation of more than 12,000 male and female students from various academic years. The test was administered in 16 colleges in person and 9 colleges remotely. This test contributes to monitoring students' academic progress and tracking the development of each student's individual learning paths.

The university's college of medicine designs this exam, which is administered annually at the participating colleges' headquarters simultaneously. The college is also responsible for correcting the exam, preparing and analyzing the results, and sending them to the participating colleges. In addition, the results are announced on the website, where all students who participated in the exam can view their performance evaluation for each section of the exam.

For his part, Dr. Humaidan Al-Humaidan, Dean of the College of Medicine at the university, explained that since its inception, the college has been committed to providing the best and most modern levels of medical education, believing in its educational and community responsibility and striving to contribute to the development and enhancement of medical education at the level of medical colleges in the Kingdom in accordance with the university's vision and strategic plan. He pointed out that the college has reviewed the evaluation criteria for this test to align with what has been approved by the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in the Kingdom, and to be consistent with the new roadmap for the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties exam and the standards of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission.

Al-Humaidan indicated that this test aims to focus on long-term knowledge and enable students to use and apply what they have learned throughout their academic careers, and to measure the extent of their development in understanding the end-of-program objectives. All students from participating medical colleges, regardless of their academic stage, take the same test. He explained that this test provides participating colleges with the opportunity to compare their students' results with their peers in equivalent years, which contributes to the objective evaluation of the goals of medical college programs and continuous annual progress towards achieving program objectives and the efficiency of their implementation.

It is noteworthy that the College of Medicine at Qassim University has taken the initiative to conduct the test since its first version until now, as this test has witnessed the participation of approximately 80,000 male and female students from most medical colleges in the Kingdom and the Gulf since its inception.
