The Innovation and Intellectual Property Center at the University holds a virtual meeting on "The Culture of Self-Employment"

The university, represented by the Innovation and Intellectual Property Center, held a virtual meeting on Thursday, 11/4/1442 AH, in cooperation with the Social Development Bank. The meeting, titled “Freelance Culture,” was held on the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The meeting was presented by Mr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al-Zughaibi, Project and Interview Specialist at the Social Development Bank, and was attended by 410 attendees of both genders interested in entrepreneurship.

The meeting defined freelancing in general and highlighted the differences between freelancing and traditional employment in terms of advantages and challenges. It also emphasized the importance and benefits of freelancing for individuals, society, and the national economy. Additionally, the meeting introduced the bank in general and discussed social loans, including marriage loans, family loans, renovation loans, and the Kanef program. It also covered project tracks, such as the startup track, graduate track, mobile cart track, and localization track.
