Under the patronage of His Highness the Prince of Qassim, the university signs a memorandum of understanding with the Qassim Science Center

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Province, patronized on Monday, April 27, 2026, the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Al-Qassim University and the Al-Qassim Science Center, in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Province, and His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharikh, at the Emirate's Diwan in the city of Buraidah.

The memorandum was signed by the Vice President of Qassim University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahd bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qassim Science and Technology Association, Mr. Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Suleim.

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties in developing training and applied programs, supporting scientific research, and organizing workshops and interactive activities that contribute to preparing qualified national cadres in line with the needs of the labor market and the requirements of sustainable development according to the Kingdom's vision.

Areas of cooperation between the two parties include; scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship programs, science and technology education and awareness programs, a cooperative training program, in addition to educational and training resources. This memorandum serves as a framework for organizing joint efforts between the two parties in the covered fields, including STEM fields, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, renewable energy, environment and water, space sciences, innovation and entrepreneurship, scientific research, training, and community service, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals, supporting education and innovation, and enhancing the role of scientific research and development in serving the community.

Cooperation areas include supporting the center with experts for program development and training, developing educational materials based on needs and aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, supporting specialized volunteering programs in the fields offered by the center, and providing the necessary experts and resources to support the design and implementation of joint programs and initiatives.
