His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, inaugurated on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the National Flag Day exhibition under the slogan «Banner of Glory.» The exhibition features 28 stands and aims to embody the status of the national flag and introduce its meanings and symbols. The inauguration was attended by Their Excellencies the Vice Presidents of the university, its staff, and its students in the main lobby of the university city.
The university exhibition included a display of the "Day of the Saudi Flag" pavilions, which highlight the status, history, and eternal symbolism of the national flag. Its profound meanings—representing unity, justice, strength, growth, and prosperity for nearly three centuries—underscore how the flag has been a testament to the unification of the Saudi state throughout its various stages. Citizens of this nation have adopted it as an unyielding banner of pride, held high and never lowered.
His Excellency the President of Qassim University confirmed that the Flag Day embodies the values of identity, unity, and belonging, and reminds us of the nation's journey and achievements. He also pointed to the university's keenness to enhance awareness of the significance and national meanings of the Saudi flag through this exhibition.
The university was adorned with flags and identification signs in front of the university gate, on both sides of its roads, and in its colleges and facilities. Celebrating and taking pride in this national occasion.
