Qassim University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corporation (SPIMACO) on Monday, September 14, 2026, in the presence of the University's Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Majid bin Fadi Al-Anzi, at the main headquarters in the University City.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Qusayr, Supervisor of the Alumni Administration, and by Mr. Abdulkarim bin Abdulaziz Al-Suwaigh, General Manager of Human Resources Partners at the company.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two sides in qualifying Qassim University students and graduates, by designing and implementing cooperative and summer training programs, internship training, and employment-linked training programs in disciplines related to the pharmaceutical industry. This contributes to qualifying national competencies and aligning university outputs with labor market needs. It also includes cooperation in exchanging expertise, enabling Spimaco experts to participate in workshops and applied lectures within the university, alongside implementing applied research projects in the fields of pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chains, to support localization and sustainable development programs.
