H.H. the Emir of Qassim, in the presence of H.H. the Vice President, launches the National Initiative for Research, Development and Innovation at the University of Qassim

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, inaugurated the national initiative in the field of research, development, and innovation, in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the region. This took place during his reception at his office of the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, and a number of university officials.

His Highness blessed the launch of this qualitative initiative implemented by the university, praising its objectives aimed at advancing the course of scientific research and supporting studies related to national identity and development renaissance.

With the 95th National Day celebrations, affirming pride in the roots of national identity, and inspired by the values of the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud – may God have mercy on him – who laid the foundations of the blessed renaissance.

The initiative aims to empower researchers to present qualitative studies that contribute to consolidating Islamic values, strengthening national identity, and highlighting the developmental transformations the Kingdom is witnessing, in light of Saudi Vision 2030, which represents a roadmap towards a prosperous nation and an integrated society.

The initiative also focuses on three main axes: Axis 1: A vibrant society with values and national belonging, Axis 2: Comprehensive developmental renaissance based on the Founder's legacy and the Vision's aspirations, and Axis 3: A participatory and responsible society contributing to building the future.

On his part, His Excellency the President of the University expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Prince of the region for his continuous support for the progress of education and scientific research, emphasizing that this initiative comes within the framework of the university's efforts to serve the community and enhance its role in achieving the objectives
