Qassim University, represented by the General Administration of Community Partnership, in cooperation with the university colleges, the Medical City, and the Center for Sustainable Development, is participating in the events of the Buraidah International Date Carnival 2026. This participation involves offering workshops, scientific studies, and awareness and educational activities focusing on the date palm sector to enrich visitors' knowledge, as part of the university's involvement in qualitative events and programs in the region, and to enhance its role in serving the community and supporting developmental, economic, and agricultural sectors.
Through its participation in the carnival, the university seeks to highlight its scientific, research, and community contributions related to the palm and date sector, and to introduce its role in supporting innovation, scientific research, and knowledge transfer, in a way that contributes to the development of this sector, enhances its sustainability, and raises the economic value of national products.
The university's participation also confirms the importance of integrating efforts between the scientific and developmental sectors, leveraging the university's expertise and capabilities to serve one of the most prominent agricultural sectors characteristic of the Qassim region, and contributing to the achievement of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
