Umm Al-Qura University wins fourth place in the 2025 Website and Digital Content Efficiency Index

Qassim University achieved fourth place among government entities in the 2025 E-services and Digital Content Efficiency Index, issued by the Digital Government Authority. This was announced during the Digital Government Forum, held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Riyadh, in the presence of several excellencies and dignitaries from various government entities.

This achievement comes after the university achieved a rate of 92.31% in the general index, among the highest performing government entities. This is one of the four main indicators launched by the Authority to measure the performance of government entities and their excellence in applying national digital standards, and achieving advanced levels in the quality of digital services and content.

The university underwent indicator standards based on two main perspectives: technical efficiency and content quality. The first perspective included aspects of domain and hosting strength, website quality, search optimization, digital security, accessibility, availability, and compatibility, while the second perspective focused on content added value, editorial quality, presentation and design, e-participation, and open data, within a comprehensive methodology aimed at raising the quality of government digital services and websites.

The forum also witnessed the honoring of Professor Dr. Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Bahli, Dean of the Deanship of E-learning and Information Technology at the university, who received a certificate of excellence within the Digital Government Award for the “Best Digital Leader” category, in recognition of his contribution to advancing the university's digital transformation journey.

This excellence comes as an extension of the university's efforts to develop its technical infrastructure and electronic services, contributing to improving the user experience and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in the field of digital transformation.
