In the presence of the Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Majed bin Fudhi Al-Anzi, the Equestrian Federation launched the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) platform for the equestrian sector. This was in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and in partnership with Qassim University, King Faisal University, the Saudi Agricultural Academy, and a number of success partners. Also attending the launch in Riyadh were His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mishaiti, and the CEO of the Equestrian Federation, Eng. Abdullah bin Aman Al-Asiri.
The platform aims to enhance the efficiency of professionals in the equestrian sector and unify and organize pathways for continuous professional development, in line with the sector's requirements and needs. This will be achieved by offering specialized training programs and certified scientific content delivered by a select group of qualified trainers and experts. Each program includes a number of specialized educational modules.
The platform also provides continuous training programs for veterinarians to maintain their competency and ensure the health and safety of horses, contributing to the enhancement of professional qualifications and continuous accreditation of veterinarians, raising the quality of veterinary services, and supporting the efforts of the Equestrian Federation and its partners in building specialized national competencies that contribute to protecting animal health, horse welfare, and enhancing biosecurity.
