His Royal Highness the Amir of the Al-Qassim Region, in the presence of His Deputy, Professor Dr. Saleh bin Muhammad Al-Bahli, Dean of the Faculty of Electronic Learning and Information Technology at Al-Qassim University, honored him on the occasion of winning the «Creatives» award in its fifth edition. The honor was presented during the award ceremony held at the Emirate’s headquarters, coinciding with the celebrations of Saudi National Day, in appreciation of his distinction and academic achievement.

His Excellency Dr. Saleh Al-Bahli, Dean of the Faculty of Electronic Learning and Information Technology, affirmed that Al-Qassim University is on a path of excellence and innovation, contributing to supporting digital transformation and enhancing the university's position in education and serving the community.

His Excellency the Minister of Education visited Al-Qassim University, and during his visit he learned about the QSpark platform developed by the Deanship of e-Learning and Information Technology, which employs artificial intelligence and adaptive learning to provide a personalized educational experience for each student. The Deanship of e-Learning and Information Technology at Al-Qassim University celebrates the occasion of the university receiving the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) award, in the presence of the deanship’s staff. The ceremony honored the deanship’s staff in appreciation of their efforts and contributions in achieving this achievement, under the supervision of His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Bahli. .

The «AI-Powered Smart Institutional Governance Platform for Higher Education» project received the Certificate of Excellence at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) among 1,595 submitted projects.

The Dean of e-Learning and Information Technology at Qassim University honored the «Innovate for Education» Hackathon team, which was organized by the university in cooperation with the National E-Learning Center under the slogan «Innovate Smart Solutions to Serve Education Using Artificial Intelligence.» The competitive hackathon events lasted for three days with the participation of 97 contestants divided into 36 teams, aimed at employing artificial intelligence technologies to serve general and higher education.
