The College of Applied Health Sciences at the university signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Public Health Sector in Al-Rass Governorate yesterday morning, Tuesday. The agreement stipulates cooperation between the two parties in providing health awareness programs and community service programs. Dr. Abdullah Al-Rathie', Dean of the College, and Abdullah Al-Dabaiani, Director of the Public Health Sector, signed the agreement at the governorate headquarters, in the presence of Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Assaf, Governor of Al-Rass.
After the signing, "Al-Ratheea" confirmed that the clauses of the agreement include presenting a package of health awareness programs and community service programs, under which the college will have full scientific supervision, and will provide courses and workshops for sector employees, in addition to training students in primary healthcare centers. The public health sector will secure the needs and equip the headquarters for holding the programs, courses, and workshops.
"Al-Rathie" added that this agreement came based on the directives of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, the university president, and within the framework of the previous cooperation between the university and the public health sector over the past years. He pointed out that this cooperation has been crystallized through the signing of this agreement, which focused on serving the student and the community and creating suitable conditions and capabilities for providing health and training programs, all of which benefit the nation and the citizen.
