The university signed a cooperation agreement with the Armed Forces Hospital in Qassim on Sunday, September 15, 2024. The agreement was signed by His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, and His Excellency the Director of the Hospital, Major General Salem bin Salem Al-Taymani, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice Presidents of the University and Deans of the Health Colleges, at the Main Hall of the University City.
The agreement aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two parties in a number of fields, and to build a scientific and research partnership between them within the organizational frameworks. It also aims to activate communication channels at the academic and professional levels. The agreement also aims to increase professional practice and training opportunities for health practitioners and doctors in the health facilities affiliated with both parties, as well as to provide opportunities for interns and bachelor's students in health colleges for practical and clinical training in the Armed Forces Hospital facilities in Al-Qassim.
The agreement includes cooperation in the fields of education and training in health specialties, providing health, consulting, and administrative services, as well as organizing workshops, seminars, conferences, and joint scientific activities. It also covers cooperation in scientific research, expertise houses, possible technical resources, information sources, databases, scientific activities, exhibitions, and professional gatherings.
