Today, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the University and the General Authority for Statistics signed a memorandum of cooperation with the aim of strengthening the partnership between them in the statistical, research and training fields. The agreement was signed by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, and His Excellency the President of the General Authority for Statistics, Dr. Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Dosari, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Majid bin Fadhi Al-Enezi.
The memorandum of cooperation included several tracks, including cooperation in developing and supporting academic programs specialized in statistics, providing external review of courses, enabling researchers to use interactive maps to estimate and analyze statistical data, exchanging statistical data and indicators, conducting statistical surveys, providing lectures, seminars and workshops in the field of statistics and joint fields, as well as cooperation in the field of volunteer opportunities that serve the Qassim region and providing cooperative and summer training opportunities for university students.
The memorandum comes within the university's endeavors to achieve its strategic objectives and contribute to an effective and effective role in developmental works by building bridges of cooperation between it and government agencies in various sectors, in line with the development witnessed by the Kingdom in all fields, as the university harnesses all its efforts to everything that would enhance the Kingdom's position, in fulfillment of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
