The College of Engineering at Qassim University has obtained international accreditation for all its undergraduate and postgraduate programs from the German Accreditation Agency (ASIIN) and the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (EUR-ACE).
The college's accreditation came after a comprehensive evaluation of its programs by the authority's team, which included field visits, a review of academic program content, teaching and assessment methods, academic resources and student support, transparency and documentation, quality management and continuous development, learning outcomes, and the alignment of programs with the professional and engineering sector.
The accredited bachelor's programs included: Mechanical Engineering Sciences, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, while the graduate programs included: Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Renewable Energy Engineering.
The College of Engineering at Qassim University is the first nationally to combine national accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission with international accreditations from ABET, ASIIN, and EUR-ACE. This step confirms its commitment to developing its academic programs in accordance with global best practices and reflects the university's continuous efforts to enhance the competitiveness of its students and raise its international standing, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
