His Excellency the Acting President of the University, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saawi, inaugurated a Science Day exhibition on Monday, March 11, 2024. The exhibition aims to embody the status of the national flag and explain its meanings and symbols. The inauguration was attended by His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahad Al-Ahmad, His Excellency the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharikh, and university staff and students, in the main foyer of the university city.
The university exhibition included a review of the story of the flag since the establishment of the First Saudi State, its developments and stages, its symbols and significance, and its history with national glories and achievements over three centuries. The flag contributed to shaping the state's identity and became part of the national fabric, drawing its great meanings of growth, prosperity, generosity, solidarity, and national cohesion from the historical depth and civilizational heritage of the Kingdom.
The university was adorned with flags and identifying signs, through the university entrance, its roads, and its colleges, in celebration and pride of this national occasion.
