Under the patronage of His Highness the Emir of Qassim The University organizes "Technical Career Day" in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, will inaugurate the «Technical Career Day» event, organized by Qassim University in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, tomorrow, Monday, March 20, 2023. The inauguration will be attended by His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, and His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, with the participation of 40 entities, at the main campus hall in the university city.

The two-day Technical Career Day aims to introduce participating companies, present job opportunities, conduct interviews, and hold workshops for job seekers and mentoring sessions. The event will have the participation of 40 entities, 6 mentoring sessions, and 8 workshops.

The Career Day comes as an extension of the university and ministry's commitment to empowering national cadres and contributing to bridging the gap between supply and demand in accordance with labor market requirements. This is achieved through the participation of employment partners from the private and public sectors, to benefit from the support provided by the university and the Future Skills initiative of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. This initiative aims to meet their needs for digital jobs by subsidizing recruitment, training, and qualification costs. This is done by offering vacant positions and conducting immediate interviews with job seekers. The Career Day will provide free recruitment platforms for all participating establishments in the event.

The Technical Career Day also provides a recruitment platform for companies to introduce their activities, showcase job opportunities, and for job seekers to apply for them and conduct interviews. Additionally, the event includes workshops for job seekers to empower and prepare them for entering the job market.
