The university achieves the highest star rating from the international rating organization "QS"

The university achieved the highest category in the star rating from the international QS organization, obtaining the 5-star category, in recognition of its excellence in a number of academic aspects related to programmatic and institutional quality. This comes after the university underwent continuous assessment according to these specific criteria for repeated periods by the "QS" authority, through independent arbitrators, and the issuance of periodic reports on the assessment processes until reaching the final assessment of the educational institution and then the release of the final results.

 

His Excellency Professor Dr. Khalid Bani Al-Harbi, the Vice President for Planning, Development, and Quality, explained that the university has deservedly achieved the highest category (5 stars) in this classification, based on its institutional performance in adhering to comprehensive academic standards. He pointed out that this is international recognition of the level of discipline in the university's institutional and academic performance, by granting it this high evaluation category. He emphasized that this achievement is an extension of what the university has accomplished in the past, by obtaining institutional accreditation and numerous program accreditations, the effects of which have been reflected in this international institutional accreditation and this qualitative classification.

 

Al-Harbi said: "This achievement would not have been possible without the success of Almighty God first, and then the support provided to higher education institutions, and specifically to Qassim University, by the government of my master, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and my master, the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman – may God protect them. This is also thanks to the support and assistance of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Qassim region, and His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki, Deputy Governor of the Qassim region, and His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh, in addition to the direct supervision of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, President of the University. He stressed that the university will continue to work with steady steps, with its available capabilities, to reach high ranks in international and global rankings in the coming days, God willing and with His success.". 

 

On his part, His Excellency the Assistant Undersecretary of the University for Planning, Development, and Quality, Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Juhani, stated that the university's achievement of this excellence and evaluation is due to its overall excellence in educational performance, and its particular excellence in e-learning and the various e-services provided to its affiliates from all categories of students, faculty members, and employees. This is in addition to its diligent work in building bridges of communication with various governmental and private work entities, which serves its students through signing a number of cooperative training agreements for most of its academic programs with various companies to meet the large number of different specializations for the university's graduates and students. The university has also distinguished itself through its service to the community and its interaction with various segments of society and its unprecedented support for this purpose. On another level, the university has been distinguished by providing competitive specialized programs such as the nationally and internationally accredited Medicine and Surgery program, in addition to other programs.

 

Al-Juhani added that this distinction extended to the university's and its leadership's attention to academic development in terms of offering training programs focused on developing and improving the performance of faculty and staff in general, and developing their various skills such as leadership skills, teamwork skills, and dealing with various modern technologies. Of course, the university did not overlook the importance of services and facilities provided to various groups such as people with special needs and those with limited income, as the university was keen to provide various facilities and services to these groups.
