The university is holding a specialized training program for the teachers of the School for Gifted Students in Advanced Industries

As part of the cooperation agreement between Qassim University and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the university, represented by the College of Engineering, held yesterday, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, a specialized two-day training program for teachers involved in the educational process at the Gifted School for Advanced Industries. The program aims to qualify them to implement specialized curricula and achieve their educational objectives in accordance with the school's approved academic model.

The program comes as an extension of the university's role in establishing and developing the academic side of the school in cooperation with the National Institute for Professional Educational Development, as the College of Engineering undertook the construction and development of specialized curricula and learning objectives, and contributed to quality control processes, to ensure the alignment of educational content with the requirements of advanced industries, future technologies, and the needs of the industrial and mining sectors.

The training program focused on empowering teachers with the scientific and applied content of the curricula, teaching methods, and the employment of project-based learning and practical applications, alongside mechanisms for measuring learning outcomes and assessing student performance, contributing to providing a quality educational experience for gifted students.

Teacher training represents a complementary link in the system of cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, as the university's role is not limited to developing curricula, but extends to transferring knowledge and expertise to the teachers responsible for implementing them, monitoring the quality of their application, and achieving their objectives, thereby enhancing the sustainability of the educational model and linking curriculum design, application, and outcomes.

This cooperation comes within the framework of the efforts of both sides to develop national human capabilities, prepare a generation of talented students possessing the scientific, engineering, and technical knowledge and skills necessary to enroll in university majors related to industry, and contribute in the future to supporting the Kingdom's advanced industries ecosystem and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
