Deanship of Student Affairs holds an open meeting entitled "Public Money is a Trust" in cooperation with the Audit Bureau

The deanship of student affairs, representing the university, held an open meeting on Sunday, 03/07/1442 AH, titled "Public Funds Are a Trust," in cooperation with the General Auditing Bureau through the Saudi Center for Financial Auditing and Performance Review. The meeting was held remotely and attended by more than 1,060 male and female students. 

During the meeting, Dr. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al-Nafi'i, a faculty member at the College of Economics and Management, spoke about the concept of public funds and its protection from a religious perspective. He explained that safeguarding public funds and properties is a manifestation of national belonging. He also touched on the role of self-regulatory bodies and their reinforcement in protecting public funds. 

Mr. Abdullah Ahmed Al-Thabet, Assistant Director of the Saudi Center for Financial Auditing and Performance Control and Director of Development, also participated in the meeting, where he spoke about the services of the General Audit Bureau, clarifying the nature of these services and their role in preserving public funds.

From their perspective, a number of participating students affirmed that the Saudi people possess great ambition and work hard for development. They also possess the determination to continue and succeed in achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030. They also explained that Saudis have a strong resolve for excellence and superiority in all aspects and fields. 

Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, Dean of Student Affairs at the university, spoke about the university stage, considering it one of the most important pivotal stages in the current and future lives of students, during which they always need various developmental programs in all aspects. He explained that this meeting comes as part of the student activities plan offered by the Deanship, and emphasized that in the near future, there will be many meetings in different fields that will enrich all students.

Al-Ajlan concluded his remarks by saying: "This year's challenge is significant, but thank God, we possess all the capabilities, cadres, and support." He emphasized the importance for male and female students to pay attention to everything offered in the Deanship's activities. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the General Audit Bureau, which always supports the awareness programs in the university's financial field.
