His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, congratulated his sons and daughters, the graduates of Qassim University, on their graduation, expressing his pride in their academic achievement which reflects their diligence and hard work throughout their university journey. He stressed that graduation represents an important milestone in their professional careers to build their future and serve their country.
This came during His Highness's patronage, today, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 AD, of the graduation ceremony for the twenty-third batch of graduates expected to graduate from Qassim University, with bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Qassim Region, and the University President, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, university vice-presidents and council members, directors of government agencies in the region, and the graduates and their families. The ceremony included the Royal Anthem, the recitation of the Holy Quran, a visual presentation of the university's achievements during the year, success stories, and a procession of graduates in the main foyer of the university city.
Your Highness indicated that the comprehensive renaissance the nation is witnessing across various sectors is thanks to God, and then to the support and attention of the wise leadership – may God support them – led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman – may God protect them both. This is further amplified by the great care they give to the Saudi citizen as the main driver of development and the architect of the future.
His Highness clarified that Qassim University plays a pivotal role in preparing scientifically and professionally qualified national competencies, and its academic outputs contribute to supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and enhancing the Kingdom's competitiveness in various fields.
His Highness called upon the male and female graduates to continue the path of learning and development, to invest what they have acquired in knowledge and skills, to harness their energies to serve their country and society, and to contribute effectively to the comprehensive development process of the nation.
For his part, the President of Qassim University welcomed in his speech His Highness the Prince of the Qassim region and His Highness his Deputy – may God protect them both – emphasizing that His Highness's participation in the joy of his graduating students is a medal of honor and pride for them and for the university, and a message to everyone that all success is within the circle of His Highness's attention and follow-up. He pointed out that the university is moving steadily towards achieving its goals, and that it is, praise be to God, achieving qualitative successes among universities with the support of the wise leadership – may God protect it – and with the efforts of all its affiliates who work as one team to achieve the set aspirations.
His Excellency the President of the University congratulated the graduates and congratulated them on this achievement, pointing out that they are reaping today the fruits of their efforts during their years of study and are moving today to a new phase of their lives. He offered them some advice, saying: “Carry knowledge with awareness, and strive to be good role models and a civilized face for the nation, and to repay its kindness, and to be its strong arms in achieving its vision, serving it, defending it, respecting its leadership, and standing united behind it. You are the strength, the future, and the awaited hope after God.”.
On this occasion, His Excellency the President of the University extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect them - for all the support, efforts, assistance, and development they provide to education. He also thanked His Excellency the Minister of Education, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Banyan, for his efforts in education throughout the Kingdom. He prayed to Almighty God to grant everyone well-being, protect our country from all evil, and bestow upon us His blessings as He wills.
A number of graduates delivered a speech on behalf of the university's twenty-third graduating class, in which they expressed their gratitude to our wise leadership – which made “Human First” a goal and a methodology, and built a monument and an outlet for the future, until the structure stood firm and giving soared to the skies of achievement. They affirmed that, with God's will, we feel the responsibility, comprehend the demands of the current phase, and realize that our duty towards our homeland is not limited to knowledge alone, but rather in belonging, unity, understanding the paths of the malicious and the ill-intentioned, and cutting off the way for the lurking saboteurs.
The speech included a message to all today's graduates and tomorrow's leaders: “Go forth, for the future calls you, and the nation places its hopes in you. Leave through these doors with unbreakable resolve and unending ambition. We march towards fields of glory, and in God's name, we proceed.”.
These graduation celebrations for female students will continue over Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, February 11-13, 2026. The celebrations will be distributed according to the university's different faculties for graduates expected to complete their degrees in Doctorate, Master's, Bachelor's, and Diploma programs.
