His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, and Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Suwai inaugurated yesterday evening the "Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Suwai – May God have mercy on him – Chair for Positivity Development and Research in Society" with a financial support of three million riyals for five years. The inauguration ceremony was held at the VIP hall in the university’s foyer, in the presence of the university vice presidents, a number of deans, and university professors.
The esteemed President of the university noted that the chair comes within the framework of the university's research efforts in various fields, pointing out that through research chairs, the university seeks to activate its mission towards society. He praised Sheikh Saleh Al-Saoui's support for the goals of this chair, which is concerned with spreading positivity in society, stressing that this chair, in general, is one of the main unconventional means that contribute to achieving the university's future vision and strengthening effective partnership between the university and the private sector in order to serve society.
Sheikh Saleh Al-Saoui affirmed that supporting such purposeful initiatives is a duty, as businessmen are partners in driving the development and growth experienced by our blessed country. He pointed out that our university, "Qassim University," deserves our support and assistance as sons of the region, contributing to the service of development paths in various fields. He noted the university's development and advancement over the past decade since its establishment, which we observe through its achievements that we are proud of. He prayed to God Almighty for the chair to achieve its intended goals, especially under the supervision of a group of professors who understand the importance of their role in spreading positivity in society.
The Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and General Supervisor of Research Chairs, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Wasil, stressed the importance of launching such purposeful chairs, pointing out the university's keenness to perform its role as part of its research mission towards society.

It is also necessary for sectors, universities, and institutions to focus on developing the idea of positivity and its applications in student and work environments. This includes finding a method of motivation and encouragement for individuals, families, employees, and even officials, to thank the doer of good three times and correct the wrongdoer once. Emphasis should be placed on implementing a culture of positivity through school programs and media programs that highlight the bright aspects of individuals and organizations.
