During the annual ceremony honoring outstanding student clubs UQU President honors the sons of the former supervisor of the student club at the College of Arabic Language

In a humanitarian gesture, His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, President of Qassim University, honored faculty member Dr. Waleed Abdul Baqi – may God have mercy on him – the former supervisor of the Student Club at the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, who passed away after a struggle with illness. He had many distinguished contributions to the events and activities that the college's Student Club consistently held throughout the year. His sons, Khalid and Al-Baraa, received the honorary shield during the annual Student Activities Ceremony, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs yesterday, Wednesday, corresponding to 14/6/1442 AH, in the main hall of the university city, in the presence of the university's vice presidents and its affiliates.

Dr. Walid Mohamed Abdel Baqi Abdel Al-Atti, from the Arab Republic of Egypt, joined the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies at Qassim University as an Assistant Professor of Syntax and Morphology starting from the academic year 1434-1435 AH, until his passing on 4-23-1442 AH. He also worked as a faculty member in the Non-Native Speakers Unit affiliated with the Arabic Language Department. He has many published works, has memorized the entire Holy Quran, and has participated in many activities both inside and outside Qassim University.

For their part, the family of Dr. Walid Abdel Baqi expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency the President of the University, the Dean of Deanship of Student Affairs, and all university staff for this blessed gesture and great honor bestowed upon their father - may God have mercy on him. They affirmed that this honorable ceremony has the greatest positive impact on his children, family, siblings, and loved ones, offering thanks, appreciation, and gratitude for this humane gesture.
