College of Science and Arts in Bakiriyah organizes an exhibition entitled "The Kingdom between ancient and modern"

The university, represented by the College of Science and Arts for Girls in Al-Baqai'ah, organized on Monday, 21/3/1441 AH, an exhibition titled "The Kingdom Between Old and New." The exhibition showcased the diverse cultures of the Kingdom, with displays that combined the fragrance of the past and the glorious history of the country with the vibrant culture of the present. This was to emphasize Saudi Arab identity and to root the national heritage in its various aspects.

 

It also included exhibits representing the civilizations and cultures of the ancient Kingdom and its heritage, represented in popular market products and handicrafts, such as tools

 

 Decorations and tools used by Saudi citizens in their environment more than 50 years ago, in addition to other aspects of popular heritage, which were represented by showcasing local costumes in rural areas, popular foods, dates with Arabic coffee, as well as heritage shows, and distinctive displays of handicrafts and small crafts related to palm fronds and weaving, with pictures and brochures dealing with the most prominent features of heritage and the country's authentic history. .

 

The exhibition was also distinguished by showcasing displays representing modern life today, such as samples of modern devices like smartphones and digital cameras, as well as cork sculptures and paintings representing the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom, in addition to brochures, artistic paintings, and products representing modern technology, development, and innovation.
