Overview

Based on the goals and responsibilities of Qassim University towards society to provide it with professional cadres that meet its needs, the Department of Industrial Engineering was established at the College of Engineering based on the new university structure issued by a decision of the University Affairs Council in 1445 – 2024. The department fundamentally contributes to the development of the nation, as the industrial engineer plays a vital role in all government and private productive sectors. This is reflected in the developmental and economic plans due to the expertise and skills offered by this specialization in analyzing, designing, and operating industrial and service production systems that achieve high production rates, operational efficiency, and quality at a reasonable price, using the best modern and integrated scientific, engineering, and computational methods and tools.

Objectives :

1- Preparing graduates for a successful career as engineers: Industrial engineers in the public and private sectors.
2- Conducting applied scientific research and providing consultations.
3- Enhancing communication, cooperation and partnership with the community.
