Vision
A pioneering academic department in preparing a generation aware of Islamic culture in thought, values, and systems, and qualifying them with the means and methods of Da'wah to support sustainable development.
Mission
Preparing academic competencies and scientific research, distinguished in advocacy and Islamic culture in its three fields of thought, values and systems in the light of quality standards, in a manner that serves the community and meets the needs of the labor market, and activating partnership with the relevant institutions.
Overview
The Department of Da'wah and Islamic Culture was established in 1424 A.H. It is one of the departments of the Islamic Studies Program, where the department seeks with other departments to provide an educational program that contributes to building a distinguished Islamic generation
Objectives :
- Developing a sense of loyalty to Islam.
- Promoting belonging to the country of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and respecting its regulations.
- Introducing the foundations of Islamic civilization and highlighting the characteristics of Islam in the field of family, society, politics and economy.
- Instilling the cognitive foundations to enable students to produce scientific research in the fields of Da'wa and Islamic culture.
- Promote the values of dialogue, tolerance, moderation, respect for human rights, and rejection of extremism.
- Qualifying a conscious generation to meet the needs of society in the field of advocacy, public speaking, thought and culture.
- Serving the community with various cultural and advocacy programs through the participation of the department's faculty members.
