Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership
Description:
The Educational Leadership Doctoral Program began in the academic year 1442 AH. Reasons for establishing the program: First: Economic reasons: The economic growth resulting from the emergence of modern and diverse functional structures and requirements in the Kingdom includes many specializations suitable for those requirements. This necessitates educational institutions to prepare the economic environment through skill-based educational programs. The Educational Leadership Program aims to achieve this goal through administrative cadres that focus on outcomes in administrative areas based on planning, leadership, development, quality, and meeting the requirements of the labor market. Second: Social reasons: The Educational Leadership Program contributes to the development of society by developing educational institutions, which are responsible for developing their programs on scientific foundations, helping to meet future aspirations and expectations for societal development. Third: Technological developments: Contemporary technological developments constitute a modern system for developing financial and administrative performance, requiring an institutional administrative system in educational institutions based on modern scientific methods. The Educational Leadership Program assists the educational environment in creating such contemporary technical systems. Fourth: National policy developments: The development of policies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the National Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030, obliges Saudi universities in general, and Qassim University in particular, to create programs that contribute to the development of the educational administrative environment, which helps achieve this goal. This applies to the Educational Leadership Program, which aims to transform the learning environment into one focused on building leadership skills and capabilities to achieve institutional excellence. .
