Plant Production and Protection Bachelor's Degree
The Plant Production and Protection Program focuses on developing sustainable agricultural production systems while ensuring food security and reducing environmental impact. The program includes strategies for increasing crop productivity, protecting plants from pests and diseases, and implementing environmentally friendly farming practices. This involves developing drought-resistant crops, conserving plant genetic resources, monitoring pests, training farmers on integrated pest management, and promoting biodiversity. At its core, the program aims to transform agri-food systems to be more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable.
Animal Production and Breeding Program (Bachelor of Science)
The department was established in 1402/1403 AH and offers a specialized program in animal production and husbandry, including courses in production, care, genetics, physiology, and nutrition for livestock and poultry.
The program aims to graduate qualified cadres to work in various regions of the Kingdom, especially in the Al-Qassim region, known for its poultry, sheep, and camel farms.
Master of Science in Animal Production
An advanced postgraduate program offered through two tracks for graduates of Animal and Poultry Production departments and their equivalents, aiming to deepen knowledge in animal production sciences and develop students' research and practical skills.
Master of Science in Poultry Production
A specialized postgraduate program offered in two tracks, focusing on fundamental and advanced poultry science, with the aim of enhancing students' research and applied knowledge in poultry production.
Master of Science in Plant Production and Protection
