On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, His Excellency the President of Al-Qassim University, Professor Dr. Muhammad bin Fahd Al-Sharkh, awarded the winners of the University Football Indoor Championship as part of the program to enhance the quality of university life, in the presence of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahd bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmed, at the Al-Olimpiy Sports Complex in the University Campus.
His Excellency the President of the University praised the level of competition and the sporting spirit demonstrated by the participants, appreciating the efforts of those organizing the tournament, and emphasizing the importance of sports activities in enhancing the quality of university life, developing students’ skills, and instilling the values of cooperation and positive competition.
The tournament saw the participation of 14 teams and 168 players from various colleges of the university competing for the title, as part of the sports activities offered by the university, which contributes to encouraging students to engage in sports, developing their skills, and promoting a positive competitive spirit. This tournament is part of the university’s efforts to promote physical activity and establish a culture of sports among students, and to increase the percentage of physical activity, building a vibrant community where its members enjoy good health and activity.
