Nine academic programs at the university have obtained programmatic academic accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC), in a step that reflects the university's continued commitment to enhancing the quality of its academic programs and elevating its educational outcomes in accordance with the Commission's approved national standards.
The approved programs were distributed across several faculties, which are: Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistic Studies and Doctor of Philosophy in Literary Studies at the Faculty of Languages and Human Sciences; Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Master of Computer Science, Master of Cybersecurity, and Master of Information Technology at the Faculty of Computing; and the Doctor of Optometry bachelor's degree.
at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, which confirms the university's commitment to continuous development and meeting the requirements of quality and academic accreditation.
With these new accreditations, Qassim University's total program accreditations have risen to 92, including 70 national accreditations and 22 international accreditations, reflecting the university's success in establishing a culture of quality and academic excellence, and enhancing the competitiveness of its educational programs in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
