University President inaugurates the orientation and preparation program for new faculty members

His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, inaugurated today, Monday, August 31, 2026 AD, the remote orientation and preparation program for new faculty members, which will be held over 3 days, organized by the General Administration of Human Resources, represented by the Leadership and Capabilities Development Center, in the presence of the Vice President for Financial and Technical Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saawi, the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahd bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, and the General Supervisor of the General Administration of Human Resources, Dr. Fahd bin Ali Al-Sudais.
The University President welcomed the new faculty members, congratulating them on joining the university family and wishing them success in their academic and professional careers. He emphasized the importance of students as the focal point of the educational process, and underscored the commitment to providing quality education that contributes to building a rich and stimulating university experience.
He called for paying attention to scientific research and innovation, leveraging the capabilities provided by the university, and building research partnerships that contribute to impactful qualitative scientific production, emphasizing the importance of active participation in the university's activities, initiatives, and community service, and ensuring that every member has a clear contribution to the university's journey.
As the university president also pointed out the importance of continuous development and keeping pace with developments in various disciplines, and utilizing modern technologies and artificial intelligence in education and scientific research, in a way that enhances the quality of the educational and research process and elevates its outputs.
The program aims to prepare new faculty members for effective integration into the university environment, introduce them to their rights, duties, and career entitlements, the frameworks regulating scientific and academic affairs, the scientific research, development, and innovation system, and the university's quality system, in addition to introducing them to the services and opportunities offered by the Institute of Studies and Consulting Services, and enhancing their participation in professional volunteering and community service.
