Qassim University received its male and female students Sunday morning, August 24, 2025, with the start of the new academic year. The number of male and female students admitted and enrolled in various specializations reached more than 66,000, distributed across 17 colleges.
His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, visited a number of colleges to observe the start of the academic year and their academic and administrative preparations. During his visits, he met with university students and urged them to be diligent and work hard in acquiring knowledge and skills, praying to God for their success, achievement, and excellence, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The university continues its educational journey through 17 colleges at the main campus in the city of Buraidah, and a number of campuses in various governorates of the region. This is accompanied by comprehensive preparations, academic programs, and educational and administrative services aimed at providing a stimulating university environment that contributes to supporting the students' journey and achieving their aspirations.
This comes as part of the university's keenness to keep pace with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by preparing a generation qualified scientifically and professionally to contribute to serving and developing the nation.
